Our Indian Brother
Thou shalt not steal but steal we did,
When we took the Indians land,
And ordered them away from us,
We held the upper hand.

A hand that's white and full of hate,
How little times have changed,
The Indians way of life today,
Should make us feel ashamed.

Our promises we have broken,
The treaties we've ignored,
We gave our word to give back land,
Our lies they must deplore.

When will we come to realize,
That all are created equal,
Learn to live and learn to love,
For we are all God's people.

Because we're white it does not mean,
We poccess a certain power,
To control the lives of other folks,
Who we made a lesser power.

We have weakened the very soul of some,
Who have tried to live their culture,
We want them to live like white man,
We crumble them like we're vultures.

Why are we so damn naive,
To believe we are supreme,
Remember Adolph Hitler,
That hateful human being.

We must let all our people's,
Practice their way of life,
Stop trying to convert them,
And causing them so much strife.

When we put a halt to customs,
Interfering with spiritual beliefs,
We can no longer say freedom rules,
We rob them like a thief.

We can continue to live the white mans way,
But keep it to ouselves,
Stop stripping the rights of others,
Put our hate up on a shelf.
