Never Lose Hope

Some people think there's no Heaven nor God
Mostly for the fact that His name is outlawed
We can't see the wind but we all know it's there
As surely as oxygen flows through the air.

If you look, there's a light that gives off a glow
From our Heavenly Father to us down below
There is no storm that He cannot cast out
For the love He gives there is never a doubt.

Till the end of our days all evil destroys
The hopes and dreams of little girls and boys
But as long as the flicker of love does remain
God spares the earth from total shame.

Those without faith, where on earth do they go
When burdened with troubles and tears that flow
Do they secretly hold bitterness and anger inside
Find an unhealthy place for their heartache to hide?

When a loved one is lost, like a Mom or Dad
To whom do they turn when they're feeling so sad
I cannot imagine never saying a prayer
Asking God up in Heaven to welcome them there.

Do those who in God choose not to believe
Feel only the loss without any reprieve
Do they think they'll never see loved ones again
Or the beautiful smile of a long lost friend.

I've learned that no matter how narrow the road gets
There's no need for panic when your goals are not met
The next time you feel at the end of your rope
Please turn to God, where you'll find there is hope.
