Dedicated To My Wonderful Web Mistress:
Janie Moser ~Lady J~

My Mysterious Web Mistress

I knew I had written a folder full of poems,
But I doubted that they'd ever all be read,
The expense involved for owning a site,
Was financially way above my head.

But then one day I was surfing the net,
And paused when I came across,
The story of a Houston grandmother,
Who had suffered a terrible loss.

Janie's grandson Michael, at the age of seven,
Had accidentally drown in a distant pond,
So touched was I while reading this,
And saddened that life had gone wrong.

I mailed and asked Janie if I could dedicate,
A special poem to be placed on her site,
She replied and explained how happy she'd be,
As I explained how I'd make it just right.

Janie had told me that my writing was awesome,
And if I would like her to build me a site,
I was forced to tell her that my limited income,
Was preventing me from having that right.

We discussed it a little farther on the phone,
And I was shocked to hear her say,
"I'm sure I can work something out for you",
"So let's get started today"!

From that day to this, I have come to know,
A very kind and compassionate soul,
Who gives of her time so freely,
To folks she don't even know.

She has built many wonderful pages and sites,
For those who now find themselves grieving,
After losing a grandchild of their own,
Find Janie's love and caring they are needing.

Not many people who give so much of themselves,
And who receive so very little in return,
But my love and respect for what Janie has done,
My admiration and appreciation she has earned.

Without Janie's kindness and love in her heart,
There would be no 'Welcome To My World',
My poems would still remain all locked up,
In a folder had it not been for this girl.
