This little poem could perhaps be the thoughts of an
unborn child, who is all comfy, nestled, and warm.

Then suddenly his safe and secure environment in Mothers womb has been interrupted, drastically!

The new born is not terribly excited at the thoughts of what may lie ahead Lol.

Life After Life

I lay warm and secure from nourishment,
My world was peaceful and so serene,
Love and tranquility encompassed me,
For I was a future human being.

Then suddenly my foundation did shake,
And my environment turned into rage,
My eyes had opened to brightness,
As I stumbled my way toward the stage.

Then someone hollered..Please take your place!
My eyes squinted as I tried hard to see,
I then felt the hand of a stranger,
Whose first slap was directed toward me.

Everything appeared to be blurry that day,
And nothing would focus quite right,
The one thing I knew for certain,
Is that I was in for one helluva' fight.

The atmosphere was so cold and scary,
Not at all like the one I had left,
I sensed that a very long journey lay ahead,
And would seldom have time to just rest.

A winding road now lay straight ahead of me,
That may loosely be referred to as life,
I am attempting to establish communication,
So I can be cuter..cuddly..and nice.

Like a whirl wind the years have swept by me,
As I reflect upon my first day on earth,
I must say my life has been entertaining,
But unsure at this point of its worth.

One thing important that stands out in my mind,
Is to believe that a God does exist,
What will you lose if you offer Him prayers,
It's better now to be put on His list!
