I Know No Pain Like That Of Others
Please tell me soon I'll see your face,
You who
mourns for the human race,
Where children suffer who've done no
wrong,
Surely you shall not wait long.
I have read the words you once did say,
To turn
our heads the other way,
When the world begins to devour all,
Look toward
heaven and heed your call.
My thoughts and prayers I offer you,
To guide me
till each day is through,
And when I lay me down at night,
Stay with me to
the mornings light.
You've shown me love and paved the road,
Lifted
off my back some heavy loads,
Compared to others daily pain,
I'm grateful
that you heard my name.
Without your presence by my side,
There is no
doubt I would have died,
I could not see the light of day,
Convinced you
did not hear me pray.
For those who suffer long and hard,
It's them I
ask that you stand guard,
For days they see no hope in sight,
I pray to
you please show them light.
Many families destroyed and ruined,
By those who
sing the devils tune,
Inflicting pain I have not felt,
Beside a dying
child they've knelt.
For the parents weeping everywhere,
The loss of
a child they now must bare,
Constant sorrow but not of your hand,
Released
insanity by that of man.
Dear God I pray for all mankind,
That somewhere
in their heart will find,
A way to live in worldly peace,
When war and
hatred soon will cease.
