God Rescues A Child

A child will close their eyes today,
After months of unending pain,
No longer to shed the tears of suffering,
But instead will feel whole again.

Treatments for leukemia reduces a child,
To a barely recognizable face,
A frail little soul inflicted with death,
Now resting in God's chosen place.

Many things they have left in memory,
With the most important of all being love,
Then the Lord called together His Angels,
And said bring up this child to above.

I will allow them not to suffer no more,
And they are needed here home with me,
To watch over all whom have loved them,
And to realize their souls been set free.

For those left behind who are grieving,
Look toward Me for your courage and faith,
Only then will you come to understanding,
Your child's life was far more than a waste.

Please rid your heart of the anger and pain,
And don't feel that I was being unjust,
I send special angels out into the world,
In my judgment and love you must trust.

One day all your questions will be answered,
But until then please be patient and strong,
The promise that I can now give unto you,
You will hold them once more before long.
