He found himself peering into an empty room His eyes darted to the left
and to the right Completely unaware of where he now stood Heart pounding
with uncertainty and fright.
He screamed and asked, 'Is anyone
here'!? But only the darkness seemed to reply Until he heard these words
that were spoken 'Breathe deep or you shall surely die'!
He struggled
as he attempted to alleviate the pain Deep breath, after breath, after
breath But it failed to remove him from the scary dark room He feared his
heart would tear loose from his chest.
Then the voice began speaking,
only louder this time Tormenting and causing him panic 'Do you really
believe you can cope with the fact' 'That you have now become a little bit
manic'!
He tried not to listen and give in to the voice But it seemed there was
no where to hide And the longer he froze in this room all alone The more
terrifying became the unwanted ride.
Trembling and feeling as though time had stopped He couldn't move and
became rigidly still Then all at once a cabinet door swung open And the
voice said, 'You'd better take your pill'!
Someone reached out to help guide his hand Till he now stared at the
little white pills He knew when he took them his fear would subside And
once again his thoughts would be still.
