A Pathway Called 'No Blame'.
Something appeared to have stirred me,
While I
lay in my bed fast asleep,
Being led by the hand of an Angel,
To where
children had gathered to weep.
I asked why the little ones were sorrowful,
And
was told to step closer to see,
Only then did my eyes come to
realize,
They were joyous as their souls were set free.
As I approached it became much more
evident,
That these children had not gathered alone,
For in their midst
stood the Holy Father,
With arms open to welcome them home.
And it seemed that I recognized their faces,
Yet
on earth they were unknown to me,
The Angel then smiled as she
explained,
While in Heaven, no strangers will there be.
All at once the sound of an Angelic choir,
As
they called upon each child by their name,
My heart raced as the little ones
followed,
Down a pathway entitled 'No Blame'!
When I attempted to follow the children,
The
Angel placed her soft hand in mine,
She whispered that God was not ready for
me,
I could not stop my eyes from crying.
Oh how my heart yearned to follow that
path,
Where the children had gone with 'No Blame',
"Rest assured my child,
you will one day see",
"The treasures when God calls your name".
Then suddenly I heard my daughters sweet
voice,
Saying, "Daddy, your breakfast is here",
And with all the love that
I held in my heart,
I hugged her and thanked God she was near.
