There's gotta' be something wrong here folks, and according to some of the beatings I have seen blacks take at the hands of cops, it tells me that depending on colour or race, will govern how many punches you take before being hauled off to jail.

A Black Child's Funeral

Would you weep at the funeral of a little black child,
The same tears you would cry if they were white,
Or have the teachings of a parent influenced your mind,
And have taught you that equality is not right?

How long is the list of people you dislike,
If you choose judging by race or colour,
Are you of the opinion that because you're white,
We cease becoming sisters and brothers?

Do you look at a Negro as inferior to you,
Simply based on the colour of their skin,
Did God have a variety of moulds when He cast,
The heart and soul of His children within?

Has He ever once told you that you rule the world,
Because of the fairness of your skin,
Did He say, "You my child are more special to Me",
"I'll just toss the rest in a bin"!

If our eyes are shaped different and our hairs jet black,
And we live in different parts of God's earth,
Do you look at that country in total disgust,
And fail to see of their equal worth.

If our religious beliefs are far different from yours,
Do you perceive a flaw in our hearts,
Are you blinded by all the fences you've built,
Not wanting us in your world to take part.

We can ill afford to add strain on our world,
And it is much easier to love than to hate,
Please stop inflicting racism on society,
Just stop it for the children's sake.
